AFAANZ will celebrate its 60th anniversary at the 2020 AFAANZ Conference to be held at Crown Promenade in Melbourne, Australia on 5-7 July 2020.
AFAANZ is devoted to a very broad spectrum of accounting and finance research and we welcome innovative research approaches as well as those that are well established. Papers have been received from across the world in the broad areas of accounting, finance, auditing, corporate governance, technology, accounting education, ethics, corporate social responsibility, tax and related fields.
We thank all of you who have submitted papers and who have indicated your willingness to chair sessions and discuss papers. All papers will be subject to blind peer review. AFAANZ encourages new and developing researchers to attend the conference, so we will again extend a discount to first time AFAANZ conference attendees and full-time higher degree research students at $400. We have also continued to offer discounted registration to AFAANZ members at $650 (including all social events and the conference dinner).
The conference continues to provide a variety of outstanding speakers and topics including keynote addresses from:
- Christine Brown, Professor of Finance, Monash University
- Christopher Napier, Professor of Accounting, Royal Holloway University of London
- Ann Tarca, Professor of Accounting, Board member of International Accounting Standards Board
The AFAANZ Board invites you to attend our 60th Conference, which culminates with the conference Dinner (theme is Diamonds and Pearls) to celebrate our wonderful organisation and our members.
